School reopens for children

(Mon 31st is a public holiday and Mon 7th Nov is the first day back)

Christmas holidays

Fri 23rd Dec - Fri 6th Jan 2012

(Thur 22nd will be the last day of school and Mon 9th the first day back)

Mid-term break

Mon 13th - Fri 17th Feb

(Mon 20th will be the first day back)

There may be a requirement by the DES that schools remain open on the 13th, 14th and 15th, if they have had to close because of bad weather. This would have obvious implications for possible holiday plans of parents or staff.

Easter holidays

Mon 2nd - Fri 13th April

(Fri 30th March will be the last day of term and Mon 16th April will be the first day back)
