After School Timetable

After School Timetable: January - March 2012

After-school activities committee phone number for general enquiries: 085 774-8687

After-school activities are provided outside school hours and are organized by a sub-committee of the Board of Management working on a voluntary basis. The term for after-school activities will run from 23rd January until 23rd March (excluding the week of the mid-term break, 13th – 17th February).

Courses will run through the year but are charged per term. At the beginning of the 2nd and 3rd term places will be offered to other children should vacancies arise. For that reason it is imperative that you let a committee member know if your child has stopped attending a class. A waiting list will be put in place for each activity should the need arise.

Swimming

Swimming is offered again this year as an after-school activity for Junior Infants to Sixth class in the pool at St. Joseph’s on the Navan Road. It will run from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays. In order to keep costs down there is no bus provided, so children will have to be collected from the school by their parents / minders and brought to the swimming pool. Parents will have to stay at the pool in case they are needed during the lesson. The Tuesday class is for 1st to 6th class, and the Friday class is for Junior and Senior Infants. However, children in the infant classes who have older siblings in the Tuesday class can join the Tuesday class.
