Our School
About Our School
Dublin 7 Educate Together presently has a single stream class in each year from second class upwards. In September 2009 it introduced a second stream at Junior Infant level. It now has over 300 pupils and twenty members of staff. Subject to there being demand for places it is proposed that it will take two Junior Infant classes each September. As it is a recognised national school it is subject to the Education Act 1998 and other relevant legislation.
The school's patron body is Educate Together and the school subscribes to the principles and ethos of the Educate Together model. The school is: multi-denominational, i.e., all children have equal right of access, and the social, racial, cultural and religious background of each child is respected. The school is also co-educational, child-centred and democratic in character. Áine Sotscheck is the school's principal.
